AEWA



The AEWA - The Agreement on the Conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds - is an independent international treaty developed under the auspices of UNEP/CMS . It was concluded on 16 June 1995 in the Hague, the Netherlands and entered into force on 1 November 1999 after the required number of at least fourteen Range States, comprising seven from Africa and seven from Eurasia had ratified.
