Acute HIV infection
Acute HIV infection typically occurs two to four weeks after exposure to HIV. While many individuals do not experience any symptoms during this period, fever, headache, fatigue, loss of appetite, aching muscles, mouth and esophagus ulcers, sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, or a rash may be observed.
