Abu Hanifa Mosque
The Abu Hanifah Mosque (Arabic: مسجد أب٠ŘنيŮŘ©, masjid abĹ« ḥanÄ«fah or مسجد أبي ŘنيŮŘ©, masjid abÄ« ḥanÄ«fah) is one of the most prominent Sunni mosques in Baghdad, Iraq. The mosque is built around the tomb of AbĹ« ḤanÄ«fah an-NuĘżmÄn (often called "the Great Imam" (ألإمام الأعظم, al-imÄm al-aĘżáş“am)), the founder of the ḤanafÄ« madhhab or school of Islamic religious jurisprudence.
