Abbey of the Saviour
The Abbey of the Saviour (Italian: Abbadia San Salvatore) is an abbey in the Tuscan town of Abbadia San Salvatore which is named after the Abbey. The traditional account of its origin indicates that the Lombard king Ratchis founded the Abbey in AD 743.
