Adelphi Buildings
Adelphi Buildings (Greek: adelphoi, "brothers"), a block of 24 unified neoclassical terrace houses occupying the land between The Strand and the River Thames. They were built by the Adam brothers, with the ruins of Durham House on the site being demolished for their construction.
