Abu Muslim
Abu Muslim Abd al-Rahman ibn Muslim al-Khurasani (, , ca. 700 - 755), an Abbasid general of Persian (Tajik) origins, born in Balkh (back then in Khorasan, now in Afghanistan) who lead the first liberal movement against the Umayyad dynasty.
