Aeëtes
In Greek mythology, Aeëtes (, Greek Αἰήτης), a king of Colchis, figured prominently in the story of Jason and the Argonauts. He was the father of Medea and Absyrtus, and son of the sun-god Helios and the nymph Perse (also called Perseis).
