Adolf Bastian



Adolf Bastian (1826-1905; see Bremen, German Confederation 26 June 1826 - Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, 2 February 1905) was a 19th century polymath best remembered for his contributions to the development of ethnography and the development of anthropology as a discipline.
