Action of 6 July 1697
This series of battles took place in 1697 when the Venetian fleet, under Contarini, hunted down the Turkish fleet in the Aegean Sea. The actions took place on July 6 near Lemnos, on 1 September between Andros and Euboea and on 20 September south of Euboea.
