Abydos, Hellespont
Abydos, an ancient city of Mysia, in Asia Minor, situated at Nara Burnu or Nagara Point on the Hellespont. Across Abydos lies Sestus on the European side marking the shortest point in the Dardanelles, scarcely a mile broad.
