Age of Empires series
The Age of Empires series is a popular franchise of real-time strategy computer games, started in 1997, developed by Ensemble Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios. There are six titles in the series (three of which are expansions) and Age of Mythology, which is actually a spin-off, generally considered to be the successor to Age of Empires II, although never formally recognised.
