Acanthopteroctetoidea
Acanthopteroctetoidea is a superfamily of insects in the Lepidoptera order, the archaic sun moths. There are two described genera of these primitive moths, four species of which, in the genus Acanthopteroctetes Braun, 1921, occur in Western North America (Davis, 1978) and are leaf-miners on the shrub genus Ceanothus (Rhamnaceae).
