The abbreviated title of a celebrated work on the Irish saints by the Franciscan, John Colgan (Leuven, 1645). The full title runs as follows: "Acta Sanctorum veteris et majoris Scotiae, seu Hiberniae, Sanctorum Insulae, partim ex variis per Europam MSS.
