Adrenocorticotropic hormone deficiency



Adrenocorticotropic hormone deficiency (ACTH deficiency) is a result of a decreased or absent production of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) by the pituitary gland. Symptoms include weakness, hypoglycemia, weight loss and decreased axillary and pubic hair.
