Abune Takla Haymanot
Abune Takla Haymanot was the Third Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church. He was enthroned following the forcible removal from the Patriarchal throne of the previous Patriarch, Abune Tewophilos by the Marxist Derg regime in 1977.
