Adventure capital
A tentative and risky investment made by an entrepreneur who found success in another area of business or by a company who is looking to expand and grow in different areas. The person or company who is willing to invest money in a venture that is just starting out is sometimes referred to as an “angel” because many others are too hesitant to front money for such a new group, innovation, or technology which might fail.
