Battle of Grozny (1994-1995)
The 1994-95 The First Battle of Grozny was the action of conquering the Chechen capital Grozny during the First Chechen War. It lasted from December 1994 to March 1995 and led to the military occupation of the city by the Russian Army amid high Russian losses and huge casualties among civilian population.
