Battle of DĂĽrenstein
The Battle of DĂĽrenstein (also known as the Battle of DĂĽrrenstein or Battle of DĂĽrnstein) was an engagement in the Napoleonic Wars during the War of the Third Coalition. The battle was fought on 11 November 1805, three weeks after the Battle of Ulm and three weeks before the Battle of Austerlitz, near the town of DĂĽrenstein (modern DĂĽrnstein) in the Wachau Valley in Austria, beside the River Danube, near the castle where Richard the Lionheart was held captive.
