Battle for the Bones
The Battle for the Bones is an annual college football game played between the University of Alabama at Birmingham Blazers and the University of Memphis Tigers. The game is in reference to the trophy that the teams play for -- a 100-pound bronzed rack of ribs which is housed at the university that wins the annual matchup.
