Baghbanpura



Baghbanpura (Urdu: باغبان پورہ) is a town located along the Grand Trunk Road some 5 kilometers northeast of the main Lahore city. The site of Baghbanpura was granted by Mughal Empiror Shah Jehan to Mian Muhammad Yousaf s/o Mian Muhammad Ishaq in lieu of giving his private village land Ishaq Pur as a gift to empiror for the construction of Shalimar Garden.
