Bassen-Kornzweig syndrome



Abetalipoproteinemia, or Bassen-Kornzweig syndrome, is a disease characterized by the body's inability to fully absorb dietary fats. This normally results in the affected person being extremely thin, and is normally, if untreated, fatal.
