Battle of Aldearn
The Battle of Aldearn took place in 1645, near Aldearn, Nairnshire, about three miles east of Nairn. James Graham, 1st Marquess of Montrose commanded the Royalist army, which had previously achieved success at Inverlochy and Dundee.
