Bhutan's Council of Ministers
Until 1999, Bhutan's Cabinet consisted of a council of Ministers chaired by the King. As a major step toward democratization in 1999, the King dissolved the existing cabinet and withdrew from playing a role in the decision-making in the cabinet.
