Battle of PavĂłn
The Battle of Pavón was fought in Pavón, in the province of Santa Fé, Argentina, on September 17, 1861, between the Army of Buenos Aires, commanded by Bartolomé Mitre, and the National Army, commanded by Justo José de Urquiza.
