Bantcho Bantchevsky
Bantcho Bantchevsky (also Bancho Banchevsky or Bancho Banchevski; ; 1906 - January 29 1988) was a Bulgarian-born American singer, singing coach, and translator. He is remembered today primarily for his death, a suicide which took place at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City during a nationally-broadcast performance.
