Banquette (pronounced: Ban-'ket-ty) is a small community located in the western portion of Nueces County, Texas; in south Texas near Robstown, Corpus Christi and the western Gulf of Mexico; other notable surroundings: Laguna Madre, King Ranch, Port Aransas (Port A); reference: Corpus Christi Caller-Times newspaper.
