Barataria Bay
Barataria Bay is located in Southeastern Louisiana, in Jefferson Parish and Plaquemines Parish, United States. It was used as the base of the pirates led by Jean Lafitte in the early 19th century, and is today a notable resource of shrimp and sulfur, as well as one of muskrat furs, natural gases and oil.
