Bakaara Market
The Bakaara Market (also spelled Bakara) is the Mogadishu open market, the largest in Somalia. "Bakaara" means "cow" in Arabic (for example, the second and longest book of the Qu'ran is Al-Baqara, The Cow), and the market remains a key destination for livestock trading.
