Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University
Formerly Institute of Postgraduate Medicine and Research (IPGMR) and popularly called PG Hospital has now been renamed as Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and has been upgraded to a complete university. IPGMR was established in 1965 as a Government-controlled institute.
