Balibo Five
The Balibo Five was a group of journalists for Australian television networks who were based in the town of Balibo in the then Portuguese Timor (now East Timor) and who were killed on October 16, 1975 by Indonesian troops mounting incursions, prior to the full-scale invasion of the territory on December 7 that year.
