Barbary Leopard
The Barbary Leopard, Panthera pardus panthera, which inhabits the Atlas Mountains of northwest Africa, closely resembles the familiar East African leopard. It is a stockier creature than the typical Panthera pardus, with a thicker coat owing to its snowy home.
