Bardney

Bardney is a village 16 km (10 miles) east of Lincoln, sitting on the north side of the River Witham in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England, notable only for the huge British Sugar factory, which ceased processing on 9th February 2001. There is a mediaeval abbey, ruined in Henry VIII's dissolution of the monasteries, a church and a small primary school.
