Bata (goddess) In Egyptian mythology, Bata (also spelt Bat) was originally a deification of the Milky Way, which, since it was in early times considered a pool of cow's milk, made Bata be considered a cow goddess. Bathonian Series The typical Bathonian Series is the Great Oolite series of England, and the name was derived from the "Bath Oelite", so extensively mined and quarried in the vicinity of that city, where the principal strata were first studied by W. Smith.
Bathorë Bathorë is an area just outside Tiranë, the capital city of Albania in Eastern Europe. Much of the area is essentially a shanty town, although local and international charitable organisations are involved in laying drainage and water supply pipes, and in recent years a hospital (built by Merlin) and school (part-funded by UNICEF) have been constructed.
Baths of Agrippa The Baths of Agrippa (Thermae Agrippae) in ancient Rome, built by Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa, were the first of the great thermae constructed in Rome. In their first form, constructed at the same time as the Pantheon and on axis with it, as a balaneion (βαλανεῖον), they were apparently a hot-air bath with a cold plunge, not unlike a sauna.
Baths of Caracalla The Baths of Caracalla were Roman public baths, or thermae, built in Rome between 212 and 216 AD, during the reign of the Emperor Caracalla. The extensive ruins of the baths have become a popular tourist attraction.
Baths of Diocletian The Baths of Diocletian (Thermae Diocletiani) in Rome were the grandest of the public baths, or thermae built by successive emperors. Diocletian's Baths, dedicated in 306, were the largest and most sumptuous of the imperial baths and remained in use until the aqueducts that fed them were cut by the Goths in 537.
Bathsheba Grossman Bathsheba Grossman is an artist in Santa Cruz, California who creates sculptures using CAD (computer-aided design) and three-dimensional modeling, with metal printing technology to produce a stainless steel / bronze sculpture. Her bronze sculptures are primarily mathematical in nature, often depicting intricate patterns or mathematical oddities(Squares for example has one side and three edges).
Bathsheba W. Smith Bathsheba Wilson Bigler Smith (3 May 1822 – 20 September 1910) was an early member of the Latter Day Saint movement. She was a founding member and served as the fourth general President of the LDS Relief Society.
Bathsheba, Saint Joseph, Barbados Bathsheba is the main fishing village in the parish of Saint Joseph with some 5,000 inhabitants on the east coastline of Barbados. The town has a number of quaint churches; Saint Joseph Anglican Church was built on Horse Hill in the town as early as 1640 but was rebuilt in 1839 following a hurricane in 1831.

Bathtub racing Bathtub racing started in Nanaimo, British Columbia and involves the use of a bathub boat. The first races began with the "Nanaimo to Vancouver Great International World Championship Bathtub Race" in 1967.

Bathurst 1000 The Bathurst 1000 is a 1000-kilometre motor race for touring cars, conducted each October at the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia. The winners of the race receive the Peter Brock Trophy, inaugurated at the 2006 race in honour of the late Bathurst legend Peter Brock.
