Bryce State Mental Hospital opened in 1861 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA, and is Alabama's oldest and largest inpatient psychiatric facility. The hospital currently houses 464 beds for acute care, treatment and rehabilitation of full-time (committed) patients.
