Backward conditioning
In classical conditioning, backward conditioning occurs when a conditioned stimulus immediately follows an unconditioned stimulus. Unlike with traditional conditioning models, in which the conditioned stimulus precedes the unconditioned stimulus, the conditioned response tends to be inhibitory.
