Bangweulu Wetlands
The Bangweulu Wetlands or Bangweulu Swamp lies in northern Zambia, east of Lake Bangweulu, around the Luapula River and its tributaries. Grassy floodplains lie south of the wetlands, acting as an extension of the region in the wet season.
