Danaparoid
Danaparoid sodium (Orgaran®) is an anticoagulant that works by inhibiting activated factor X (factor Xa). Danaparoid is considered a "low molecular weight heparin" but is chemically distinct from heparin and thus has little cross-reactivity in heparin-intolerant patients.
