Dave Werner
David Eberle Werner was an early-17th century explorer and spice trader responsible for, among other things, the establishment of vital salt trading routes in the Northern Atlantic and the ruthless massacre of the Massachupess Indians, an isolated branch of the Algonquin tribe. Although of Swiss and German ancestry, Werner sailed under many flags and for many kings.
