Decisive victory
A Decisive victory is an indisputable military victory of a battle that determines the ultimate result a conflict. It is not always the end of combat-the Battle of Midway, for example, is considered "decisive", despite the fact that the war ended more than three years later-but it does decide the conflict in that after such a victory, one combatant is no longer capable of winning.
