Daim bar

A Daim bar (or Dime bar in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, prior to September 2005, when Kraft Foods rebranded to bring the product in-line with the rest of Europe) is a crunchy caramel candy bar covered in milk chocolate that originated in Sweden in 1953, produced by the Swedish company Marabou, originally a subsidiary of the Norwegian company Freia. The Daim bar was created after years of research into a similar product produced by the American company Heath.
