Dahuk, Iraq



Dahuk (also spelled Duhok or Dohuk; Kurdish: دهۆك, Duhok, Syriac: ܢܘܗܕܪܐ, Nohadra) is a city in northern Iraq and is the capital of Dahuk Governorate. It has about 500,000 inhabitants, mostly consisting of Kurds and Assyrians.
