Dalal Street
Dalal Street (Hindi: दलाल - DalÄl means a broker, pimp or dealer) in downtown Mumbai, India is the location of the Bombay Stock Exchange (in the Phiroze Jeejeebhoy Towers and many related financial firms and institutions. When Bombay Stock Exchange was moved to this new location at the intersection of Bombay SamÄchÄr Marg, Hammam Street, the street next to the building got the name as DalÄl Street.
