D-Company is a criminal organization based primarily in Mumbai, India which is closely linked to a range of organised criminal and terrorist activities in the South Asian (especially India) and the Persian Gulf region, and headed by mafioso Dawood Ibrahim. The reference to "company" in the name of the organisation does not signify that it has a separate corporate identity.
