Daniel Featley



Daniel Featley also called Fairclough and sometimes called Richard Fairclough/Featley (born 1578 in Charlton, Oxfordshire—died April 17, 1645) was an English theologian involved in the translation of the King James Version of the Bible. He was a scholar of Corpus Christi College, Oxford, and probationer fellow in 1602, after which he went to the court of Henry IV of France as chaplain to the English ambassador.
