Edgar Wind



Edgar Wind (14 May1900 Berlin, Germany-12 September 1971 London, England) was an interdisciplinary art historian, specializing in iconology in the Renaissance era. He was a member of the Warburg school of art historians as well as the first Professor of art history at Oxford University.
