Eleutherodactylus augusti
The Eastern Barking Frog (Eleutherodactylus augusti) is a small Leptodactylid frog found in the southern United States in the states of Texas and New Mexico, with disjunct populations in Arizona and northwestern Mexico. It is called the barking frog because its call sounds like the barking of a small dog.
