Edward Forbes Smiley III
Edward Forbes Smiley III (born in 1957) is a US antiques dealer who admitted stealing 98 rare maps valued at more than US$ 3 million over a period of seven years. He was caught at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Yale University when a library staffer noticed a dropped X-Acto knife blade on the floor.
