Evidence-based management Evidence-based management is an emerging movement to explicitly use the current, best evidence in management decision-making. Its roots are in evidence-based medicine, a quality movement to apply the scientific method to medical practice.
Evidence-based medicine Evidence-based medicine (EBM) is an attempt to more uniformly apply the standards of evidence gained from the scientific method, to certain aspects of medical practice. Specifically, EBM seeks to apply judgements about the inductive quality of evidence, to those aspects of medicine which depend on rational assessments of risks and benefits of treatments (including lack of treatment).

In addition to these previously mentioned thrilling reality game play style, the French version of the game (only within France) offers a new exciting service, based on a one-time fee, sending SMS messages to the player directly to their mobile phones; as well as the ability to call any of the characters and have a real phone conversation with.
Evidential apologetics Evidential apologetics or evidentialism (not to be confused with epistemological evidentialism) is an approach to Christian apologetics emphasizing the use of evidence to demonstrate that God probably exists. The evidence is supposed to be evidence both the believer and nonbeliever share, that is to say you need not presuppose God's existence (see also Presuppositional apologetics).
Evidentialism Evidentialism is a theory of justification according to which whether a belief is justified depends solely on what a person's evidence is. Technically, though belief is typically the primary object of concern, evidentialism can be applied to doxastic attitudes generally.
Evidentiality In linguistics, evidentiality is, broadly, the indication of the nature of evidence for a given statement, that is, whether evidence exists for the statement and/or what kind of evidence exists. An evidential is the particular grammatical element (affix, clitic, or particle) that indicates evidentiality.

Evil and rude As used by computer hackers, evil and rude describes a behavior or program that is both evil and rude in the hacker's sense, but with the additional connotation that the rudeness was due to malice rather than incompetence. Thus, for example: Microsoft's Windows NT, according to many hackers, is evil because it's a competent implementation of a bad design; it's rude because it's gratuitously incompatible with Unix in places where compatibility would have been easy and effective to do; but it's evil and rude because the incompatibilities are apparently there not to fix design bugs in Unix but rather to lock hapless customers and developers into the Microsoft way.

Evolutionary capacitance Evolutionary capacitance is a cutting-edge biological theory stating that living systems have the ability to accumulate genetic variation that has no phenotypic effect until the system is disturbed (perhaps by stress), at which point the variation has a phenotypic effect and is subject to natural selection. This mechanism would allow for rapid phenotypic change in a population, and rapid adaptation to new environmental conditions.
Evolutionary developmental biology Evolutionary developmental biology (evolution of development or informally, evo-devo) is a field of biology that compares the developmental processes of different animals and plants in an attempt to determine the ancestral relationship between organisms and how developmental processes evolved. Evo-devo addresses the origin and evolution of embryonic development; how modifications of development and developmental processes lead to the production of novel features; the role of developmental plasticity in evolution; how ecology impacts development and evolutionary change; and the developmental basis of homoplasy and homology.
Evolutionary developmental psychology Evolutionary developmental psychology, (or EDP), is the application of the basic principles of Darwinian evolution, particularly natural selection, to explain contemporary human development. It involves the study of the genetic and environmental mechanisms that underlie the universal development of social and cognitive competencies and the evolved epigenetic (gene-environment interactions) processes that adapt these competencies to local conditions; it assumes that not only are behaviors and cognitions that characterize adults the product of natural selection pressures operating over the course of evolution, but so also are characteristics of children's behaviors and minds.
Evolutionary developmental psychopathology Evolutionary developmental psychopathology is an approach to the understanding of psychiatric disorders based on the following: that human adaptations were forged to function in past environments rather than the current environment; that investigations of brain-damaged patients should be included in the modeling of disorders to facilitate the mapping of psychological functions on to brain systems; that investigations of behavioural abnormalities should be combined with those on information-processing abnormalities in a scheme that acknowledges both cognition and affect as components of information processing; investigation of specific signs and symptoms, rather than syndromes, as symptoms such as delusions and hallucinations, for example, are observed in patients who currently fall into a number of diagnostic categories, including schizophrenia and affective psychosis; the expectation that complex psychological processes will be broken down into simpler tasks that can be performed by mindless agents and final
