Ecnis
ECNIS (Environmental Cancer Risk, Nutrition and Individual Susceptibility) - Network of Excellence created by 25 research institutions (~200 scientists) in Europe coordinated by the Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine in ĹĂłdĹş, Poland - project granted within Sixth Framework Programme for Research and Development (FP6). The ultimate goal of the ECNIS NoE is to establish an internationally competitive network of European research centres to overcome the existing fragmentation of activities and to enhance the quality and relevance of research on environment, nutrition, and cancer risk as modulated by diet and genetic disposition.
