Elena Pucić-Sorkočević
Elena Pucić-Sorkočević (1786 - 1865), was the first female composer in Dubrovnik (Italian: Ragusa). After the fall of the Republic of Dubrovnik, musical performances were mostly held in private houses of the noble families.
